Q. Where does it run?

A. All GorillaSoft products are online, web-based applications. This allows you to securely access your tools and date from any Internet connection. GorillaSoft can provide your application hosting or we can deploy the tools on the web host of your choice.

Q. Does it work with Office or Quickbooks?
|
A. Yes. All the data in the GorillaSoft system seamlessly integrates with third party applications, from Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Microsoft CRM and Amazon.com.

Q. How can I get my reports or data?
|
A. All your GorillaSoft data is available to you. Download your data, apply custom filters or format your data using your online interface. Reports are available in a variety of formats, including Excel files, formatted Word documents, PDFs and custom formats for printing labels.

Q. How long does it take to see my changes?
|
A. It takes no time at all. All of GorillaSoft applications are real-time, updating the complete system instantaneously as data transactions or updates occur.

Q. Is my data backed up?
|
A. Yes. GorillaSoft has a triple redundant data backup system in place, including a nighly backup of the live data to the GorillaSoft preview server, which is also backed up regularly.

Q. Do you provide eCommerce?
|
A. Yes. GorillaSoft is an official reseller of the AuthorizeNet Gateway and the application can manage eCommerce demands such as online store and inventory management, as well as online event management and ticket sales.

Q. Who owns the completed application?
|
A. The client owns their iteration of the code per the license agreement. GorillaSoft never resells a customer’s customized application as a GorillaSoft product. The client cannot resell the application or charge for the service under the initial agreement. However, GorillaSoft does offer provisions for that kind of flexibility, and that can be addressed on per case basis. GorillaSoft has a healthy partner network through the continental US.

Q. What do I need to use it?
|
A. GorillaSoft applications are all web based, so all you need an internet connection and a browser. There is no special VPN or IT support necessary. GorillaSoft tools are cross platform, cross browser and even PDA and cell phone compatible.

Q. Is my data safe online?
|
A. Yes, your data is very safe online. GorillaSoft focuses on security. We have a proven track record of safety and compliance. We’ve deployed online board member and customer extranet software for exacting clients that are members of the Fortune 100 Bank Association. GorillaSoft has a sophisticated, three point ID confirmation on each login, keeping detailed records of each login as well as the IP and Hostname of the router that logged in. The GorillaSoft login was hit by a third party security firm and found to be more secure than the Windows server upon which it was running.
GorillaSoft hosts your application on Unix servers, collocated at Data393, with code and data backups nightly. Increased security is available using the most current SSL encryption for those clients requiring that level of assurance.

Q. How do you charge?
|
A. The GorillaSoft Enterprise Framework is a licensed application, with scalable fees based on administrative users or revenue generated through the application. GorillaSoft does not charge for leads; we do not want penalize customers for having a great deal of leads.
GorillaSoft charges an implementation fee for the setup and customization of the client’s application.

Q. Who is the ideal GorillaSoft client?
|
A. Mid-tier companies at least at the $1M revenue mark, currently swamped in a mess of Excel files and too much data. We help companies that have grown out of their current system, both size and in terms of manageability. (These are truly the benefits of moving your data input and retrieval online). We help Inc500 clients and Fortune 100 companies. Most often, the marketing departments of the companies we help are working hard to get vast amounts of sales and marketing information and data in order with a current system that has become obsolete.

Q. What happens if we part ways?
|
A. Our clients have the option to continue to use their application for its intended purpose. GorillaSoft no longer insures the quality, but we can continue to provide technology support at an increased hourly rate. The client can never attempt to create a software application from our GorillaSoft Enterprise Framework, nor can the application software be used for a different purpose than intended, per the agreement, yet we remain supportive and flexible to ensure you meet your desired marketing and revenue goals.
