BikeSmart.com is the online venture of Mike's Bicycle Centers of Northern California. With four wildly successful stores in San Rafael, Berkeley, Sausalito and Palo Alto and a staff of over 60 incredible people, BikeSmart is more than neighborhood resource for an ultimate product experience.
Stuck with an outdated ecommerce application on an old, out-dated server, BikeSmart's online presence was suffering. With rampant bugs in their applications their site was down often, discouraging buyers from taking the next steps in the 'Come Visit Our Store' call to action.
GorillaSoft transitioned the application to the GorillaSoft application framework, deploying a brand new server, hosted with GorillaSoft at Data393. GorillaSoft developed a custom SOAP XML integration with Amazon.com, with real-time inventory and order fulfillment integration with the live Amazon system and BikeSmart inventory system for a newly expanded and robust online ordering system to support a nationally based online presence.

The Michigan State University College of Law site contained over 10,000 pages. Understandably, they were having great difficulty finding a vendor to update their look and feel, while adding new levels of efficiency for the tracking of their data. For GorillaSoft, that's an easy request.
First GorillaRequest created a new, memorable design. The team then worked on the most effective method of optimizing the navigation and making site management simple, despite its size. Through powerful code and clean interface, GorillaRequest delivered the university a new Web Center, which currently receives over 1000 unique page views each day.
The Web Center was a Law Finalist for the 9th Annual Webby Awards, recognized for its ability to handle the volume of inquiry in ways that provided an excellent visual experience for users.
